By the end of the term students will improve skills needed for:
 
bulletThinking and writing critically about literature.
bulletWorking as a school library assistant.

You must be self-motivated to work on these each week, so you are not trying to do all of them the day before they are due.

Each Grading period you will be graded on:
 
1Daily Classwork (20 points daily):

Library Duties  (See clipboard for specifics.)

Reading/Writing about Literature  (Read at least 20 minutes each day and journal regularly)

Learning Assignments (Click on link in left column for appropriate grading period)

Shelf Area / Cabinet

Shelving
 

2 Literature Journal or ... Non-Fiction Journal (100 Points) No more than 1 non-fiction journal per semester.
       

3 Literature Review (100 points) - Word Template
